When CU Williams Village at the University of Colorado campus in Boulder created a new state-of-the-art dining and student life facility ADCON was tapped to manufacture and install the contemporary themed signage. Contained within the facility is a student health center, tutoring center, UPS store and 9 distinct dining venues serving up a variety of cuisines. Each venue was designed & fabricated to have a warm & inviting Colorado theme. Local materials like beetle-kill pine were used in combination with rustic painted finishes like Iron ore & faux rusted steel. Subtle LED halo lighting effects were used to enhance visitor experience both day or night. Sculptured sign foam letters, maple/birch plywood sign bands and contour cut acrylic shapes round out the diverse application of materials on this project.
KSQ Architects & Arthouse Design teamed up on the design, ADCON was selected as the preferred fabricator.
